UNDER THE MAYPOLE OF A BOWERBIRD

During the lockdown period, I seized the opportunity to create my own digital archive and experiment with creating a virtual gallery, through using social media, a website, and Media Molecule game engine to build an explorable digital space that showcases a collection of artworks that connect art with the environment. My goal was to collect online directions to influential contemporary and emerging artists whose work explores topics such as climate change, ecology, and the relationship between humans and nature, and to use digital spaces to share their art with a wider audience. This project was created to utilise social media platforms as a research tool and create positive digital spaces to inspire change.
