EMMA CAN SEE MONSTERS
I started my own art project in 2019 with the goal of showcasing my work and experimenting with different ways of using social media to promote it. This has given me valuable experience in conceptualizing, themeing, and executing innovative social media posts and strategies, and in learning about Instagram algorithms and how to optimize my posts for better visibility. I have also kept up to date with the latest social media features, such as Instagram Live and interactive stories, and I have strategized how they can be used in the art world both currently and in the future. Through this project, I have developed strong skills using social media to showcase art.
MY WORK
Imagining monsters started as escapism bringing a childlike comfort to a daunting adult life and later realising they’re very revealing to the human mind. Her monsters are her psychoanalysis. They expose her most authentic self through the grotesque, the slime, the fluff, the scales, the limbs, and the forms.
